Community Centres Services Society Executive Director

West Vancouver, BC: The District of West Vancouver, in partnership with the West Vancouver Community Centres Services Society (WVCCSS), is pleased to announce the appointment of Sue Ketler to the position of Executive Director for the West Vancouver Community Centres Services Society. Under an agreement with the District, the Society is responsible for all programs and services delivered through the new Community Centre and the Aquatic Centre.
“Our Board of Directors is very pleased that Sue will be joining us as Executive Director of the Society. Ms Ketler brings substantial experience, abilities and enthusiasm to this position. We have worked with Ms Ketler in another capacity over the past year and we are very pleased Ms Ketler will represent our Society in this capacity” said Barbara Brink, Chair of the Society.
“Ms Ketler brings a breadth of experience to this position. She is very familiar with the West Vancouver community and has a broad skill set that will support the ongoing success of the Society in their governance and oversight of the spectacular Community Centre/Aquatic Centre,” states Grant McRadu, CAO. “Ms Ketler understands the importance of working closely with the community to provide the best service to our residents. This appointment exemplifies our commitment to the innovative partnership with the WVCCSS.”
Sue succeeds Cathy Matheson, who will be returning to her role as Manager, Office of Cultural Affairs and Corporate Partnerships.
