The Planning Department develops long-range plans and strategies, policy and regulations related to land use, development and environmental protection; processes applications for development, rezonings and subdivisions; and reviews engineering and environmental requirements, including creek protection.
Permits and Inspections issue permits and carry out inspections relating to building, plumbing, electrical and signage.
The Land Development Department works to ensure that new development is serviced by appropriate levels of utilities and provides engineering review of development applications and building permits.
