Notice of Road Closure, Removal of Highway Dedication & Disposition of Municipal Land (Bylaw No. 4633, 2010)
Road Closure: The District of West Vancouver gives notice of its intention to close to traffic and remove the dedication of a portion of unimproved road allowance at 23rd Street and Ottawa Avenue. The closed road, as shown below, comprises an area of 738.37 square meters, more or less. The bylaw will be considered by Council at its regular meeting to be held at Municipal Hall, 750–17th Street, West Vancouver, on November 1, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Persons who consider they are affected by the bylaw will be provided an opportunity to make representations to Council at the meeting or by delivering a written submission to the Municipal Clerk prior to the meeting.
View Lot for Sale: The District of West Vancouver further gives notice of its intention, in the event that Council adopts the proposed bylaw, to dispose of the portion of the closed road shown below. The parcel for sale is a vacant single family residential parcel. It has an area of 566.33 square meters, more or less, and has RS5 zoning. Conditions and restrictions on development will apply. More Information: Copies of the proposed bylaw and other related documents may be inspected from October 18, 2010 to November 1, 2010 at the Municipal Hall on regular business days from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Some documents may also be available for viewing on westvancouver.ca or in the Reference Department of the West Vancouver Memorial Library at 1950 Marine Drive (604-925-7400). Submissions to Council will be included in the public information package for Council’s consideration.
