West Vancouver, BC: West Vancouver is honouring its past and celebrating its future as the community celebrates its centennial. Community centennial celebrations are kicking off March 15 with a birthday party to celebrate the date of incorporation for West Vancouver and everyone is invited. Be sure to bookmark the Centennial website for 2012 – westvan100.ca.
Mayor Michael Smith says, “West Vancouver residents are passionate about their community and we want everyone to get involved, celebrate, submit photos and join us on March 15 and June 2 for community celebrations.”

West Vancouver Memorial Library – Family Fun Birthday Party
Come and enjoy:
- Celebration of the Library’s launch of a digital collection of historical photographs (digital.westvanlibrary.ca), including a gallery exhibit showcasing select images from the collection
- 100 minute story time
- Musical children’s performer Rick Scott
- Music by the Rob Hamilton Trio

On June 2, traditionally Community Day, Centennial Celebrations will expand programming with particular focus on our well-loved waterfront parks, including Horseshoe Bay Park, Dundarave Park, John Lawson Park, Millennium Park, Ferry Building Landing, and Ambleside Park.
