Media Release - Last chance to visit the Art Market at the Harmony Arts Festival
Thursday, August 09, 2012
West Vancouver, BC - Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Art Market has returned to the Harmony Arts Festival after its successful launch last year. The market is bigger and better this year, with over 80 jury-selected artists and artisans from near and far showcasing their hand-crafted jewellery, sculptures, blown glass, paintings, leather goods, fashion, pottery, woodworks, and so much more along the Argyle Avenue waterfront in West Vancouver.
Special Events and Festivals Manager Christie Rosta says: “The Harmony Arts Festival is about promoting arts and culture locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. I welcome everyone to come down to the Art Market this weekend for a chance to meet the many talented people whose passion, skill and creativity will be on full display. You won’t be disappointed.”
No need to worry if you missed the market on the August long weekend because it returns this weekend for three more days of unique artistic and artisanal offerings in one of Metro Vancouver’s most picturesque settings.
But this is the final weekend for the Art Market—here are the hours:
- Friday, August 10, 2 p.m.–9 p.m.
- Saturday, August 11, 11 a.m.–9 p.m.
- Sunday, August 12, 11 a.m.–9 p.m.
