Maximize fun, Comfort and Safety
- Keep to lower elevation parks along the waterfront, close to arts and recreation facilities, cafes, and shops
- Short day-light hours, cold weather and snow/icy conditions can make even a short hike uncomfortable or dangerous if you are caught off guard.
- Be prepared with flashlights, bring a cell phone, wear warm waterproof and reflective and or light coloured clothing, and let someone know where you are going.
