I'm curious what the district's position is on renewable energy for home owners?

For instance if you were interested in one or all of the following:

wind turbines for grid tie AC power or battery charging
solar pv for grid tie AC power or battery charging
solar thermal for domestic hot water and space heating

Any information would be helpful. So far I haven't found any incentives or guidelines for going green and it's high time (Japan incident) everyone start thinking about what they can do both for themselves, the environment, and the community.

True sustainability isn't possible in reality but we can certainly do a LOT better.

Any information on permits for RE and any training district staff have received on RE would be much appreciated. Some info at http://www.bcsea.org/
