Update: June 2026
The Gleneagles Pickleball Courts and Skateboard Park project is moving into its next phase. Staff will begin work immediately with the successful proponent, New Line Skateparks Inc., on the design and community engagement process to help refine the project scope.
This project represents an important investment in recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. It includes three new pickleball courts, a new street-style skateboard area, and refurbishment of the existing skateboard bowl.
Staff will return to Council on or before July 20 to present the design and budget for approval.

Update: February 2026
Mayor and Council have approved staff to issue a Request for Proposal to design and construct three pickleball courts and a new street-style skateboarding area, and to repaint the existing skateboard bowl, at the Gleneagles Adventure Park. As part of this site modification, the current bike terrain park with dirt jumps would be replaced by the new courts and complementary skate amenities.
Construction is anticipated to begin this summer and is expected to be completed in fall 2026.
To support cycling and wheeled-sport opportunities in the area, the District will continue to work with BC Hydro on the feasibility of a paved junior/intermediate pump track on BC Hydro land across from the Gleneagles Community Centre. A paved pump track on this site would provide a more durable, low-maintenance, and inclusive replacement for the existing bike terrain park.
At their regular Council meeting on Monday, February 9, 2026, a staff report titled Gleneagles Youth Facilities and Pickleball Courts was received for information and the following motion was approved:
