NEW - Effective July 2, 2012 - Building Bylaw amendments will require additional information when applying for a Building permit. See Notice concerning key changes to Building Permit application requirements effective July 2, 2012

The Permits and Inspections Department issues building, plumbing, hot water heating, sprinkler, electrical and sign permits and performs related inspections.

West Vancouver does not issue or inspect gas installations. Please refer to the BC Safety Authority website for information.
