Community Relations & Communications
Residents and stakeholders are kept informed of and engaged in Council priorities, District projects, activities and development through the Community Relations & Communications Division. Messaging to citizens, partners, stakeholders and other audiences originates in this division.
Crisis communications training and readiness are also handled by this division, often in collaboration with other North Shore municipalities.
Communications activities include media relations, issues management, development and production of print publications, communications project planning, tactical communications, public consultation and branding. Digital communications, including a range of websites, social media channels and email marketing, are managed by this division.
