Seismic Upgrades to Municipal Hall

The District is conducting work to seismically upgrade Municipal Hall. Visitors will notice construction fencing, changes to access within Municipal Hall and relocated visitors’ parking as a result.

Projects by the District of West Vancouver and partner agencies:

Short-term projects

Tuesday, October 22, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.

  • Full road closure on 21st Street between Argyle Avenue and the driveway to 195 21st Street to facilitate crane installation at the adjacent development

Starting Monday, October 7 for approximately one month, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

  • Single lane alternating traffic on Marine Drive from Gleneagles Drive to Eagleridge Drive due to road construction

Starting Friday, November 1 for approximately one month

  • Road closure on Bellevue Avenue between 26th Street and 27th Street to facilitate slope stabilization work

Long-term projects

Starting the week of October 21 for approximately 6–8 weeks

  • Intermittent delays eastbound on Marine Drive between 13th Street and 14th Street due to construction at the Grosvenor development. Details.

Starting the week of August 12

  • Intermittent traffic delays on Marine Drive between Taylor Way and Park Royal due to RapidBus (B-Line) construction. Details.

Late-August through November

  • Intermittent traffic and parking restrictions across the District for the Sewer Rehabilitation Program. Details.
