November 2021 update

Public Information Meeting 

In advance of the Public Hearing, the applicant hosted a virtual Public Information Meeting on November 30, 2021, at 5 p.m., to provide information about the proposal, answer questions, and seek public input. 

First Reading

Background

The District has received a formal Zoning Amendment application to allow for a childcare facility at 1050 Esplanade Avenue. The proposal would allow for a licensed childcare for up to seven children that would be located in the secondary suite of the existing single-family house located on the site.
 
As part of the preliminary review process, the applicant accepted feedback from the public including neighbours of the site in June 2021.
