Development Application - Approved Applications

The District has received a development permit proposal to allow for a six-storey, mid-rise, 19-unit apartment building. The subject site is located within the Rodgers Creek Area of the Upper Lands which requires compliance with the Rodgers Creek Development Permit Area (UL8.1) development guidelines within the OCP.
The proposal includes a vehicular entrance on the northern portion of the site (accessed from Rodgers Creek Place), ample landscaping and contemporary ‘mountain-inspired’ architecture. The proposal utilizes prevailing views to the south and east towards Burrard Inlet with the inclusion of extensive south-facing windows and expansive outdoor/covered decks.
The proposal was reviewed and supported by the Design Review Committee on January 13, 2022, and also reviewed and supported by the North Shore Advisory Committee on Disability Issues on March 3, 2022.
The Director of Planning and Development Services approved Development Permit 21-172 on March 9, 2023.
