A general timeline for construction works for this project:
- November 2020-April 2021 – excavation and shoring
- April 2021-May 2022 – Superstructure construction
- June 2022 – Anticipated occupancy date

At its meeting on November 4, 2019 Council approved the development proposal for the expansion of Amica Lions Gate to allow for a six-storey building for rental seniors independent living.
