At the May 25, 2015 Council meeting, Council approved an amendment to the Development Permit for the Shell Gas Station at 1305 Marine Drive to lower the gas canopy by 0.8 metre (2.6 ft) in order to address non-compliance issues.
Shell has begun construction work on the site and hopes to have final approvals within a few weeks to allow the gas station to fully open.
