COVID Park Ranger Program wraps up, regular Park Ranger program begins

Jul 2, 2020

As the province enters Phase Three of its COVID response and the District of West Vancouver is gradually resuming some services, the COVID Park Ranger program is wrapping up. Launched in Phase One, the COVID Park Ranger program redeployed District staff to parks and trails to raise awareness and help visitors maintain 6 feet of distance.

As more and more people are practising physical distancing on their own, these District staff will be redeployed once more to support modified services and programs that are resuming.

The regular, seasonal Park Ranger Program will begin in July, and the regular Park Ranger program in Lighthouse Park will continue.

Visitors to West Vancouver parks and trails are reminded to follow all safety precautions for COVID, which are posted on signs throughout our parks.
