Sign up for a free FireSmart Home Assessment
The District is offering free FireSmart Home Assessments until July 29 to all West Vancouver residents interested in learning how to improve the resiliency of their homes in the event of wildfire.
By signing up, a local FireSmart representative will visit your home and provide recommendations on how to reduce the risk of wildfire on your property.
You will receive a FireSmart Home Assessment Score Card identifying ways you can make your property FireSmart. Building construction types and materials, landscaping around homes, and the presence of combustible materials will be included in the assessment.
FireSmart tips are also available in the FireSmart Begins at Home Manual.
