Update: December 2021—Community consultation postponed 

District staff recognize that addressing on-street parking demand in the Whytecliff area is challenging, and we continue to review information regarding available parking in the area, among other considerations. The situation is complex, and there are many factors to consider. Community consultation has been postponed while staff explore a suite of future viable solutions.
 
The most effective way to alleviate parking challenges in this area in the short term is to continue the summer program to manage park visitor traffic. Staff have requested to continue this program in summer 2022, based on the positive feedback received from residents. This request will be included in the proposed 2022 budget.
