The trailhead to the Lawson Creek Forestry Heritage Walk is located on the west side of the Pinecrest Bridge at the top of Pinecrest Drive. Look for the sign marked “Lawson Creek Forestry Heritage Walk”. A few hundred metres from the trailhead, the remains of Shields Log Dam and Flume Pond remind us how deeply rooted West Vancouver has always been to the forest that surrounds it.
