Getting Here

No matter where you're coming from, getting to West Vancouver is a scenic commute! 


Visitors taking the bus will find it’s a quick and easy way to travel.

Blue Bus Schedule


Most free parking in West Vancouver along major routes is for two hours in a 24-hour period. Parking is free at our parks and along the street, just remember to be mindful of the time restrictions on some routes. 

We offer electric charging stations at Municipal Hall, West Vancouver Community Centre and Gleneagles Community Centre. Each location has two vehicle charging spots.

You may also wish to park your vehicle in one of the many Park-and-Ride locations in West Vancouver:

Park Royal North
Spaces: 166 parking spaces
Location: north side of the rooftop
Hours: Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Daily rate: free

Spaces: 30 parking spaces
Location: 3700 block of Westridge Avenue
Hours: available all week
Daily rate: free

Spaces: 120 parking spaces
Location: 6200 block of Marine Drive
Hours: Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Daily rate: free



BC Ferries

Getting to West Vancouver by ferry will have you smoothly sailing into Horseshoe Bay from Nanaimo, Sunshine Coast or Bowen Island.

Cross the Burrard Inlet by SeaBus in just 12 minutes! The SeaBus takes travellers from Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver to Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver. Once you're on the North Shore, bus, bike or hike your way west! The SeaBus arrives at Lonsdale Quay which is home to a  bus sheltered bus loop.

If you love the outdoors and want to walk or hike to West Vancouver, there are plenty of scenic trails to explore!

The Spirit Trail connects walkers, joggers, cyclists and in-line skaters, and people with mobility aids between North and West Vancouver.
