3906 Southridge Avenue (electrical pole)

Development Application - Approved Applications

The owners of 3906 Southridge Avenue have submitted an application for Environmental Development Permit 23-006 for proposed works on the subject site, including construction of an electrical pole within the front yard setback.

A tributary to Godman Creek flows in a southerly direction down the eastern property line of the site. An environmental development permit is required due to proposed works within the 15-metre setback from the top of the watercourse bank. Variances to the Zoning Bylaw may be considered to prevent or reduce loss of habitat within 15 metres of the top of the watercourse bank.

The applicant is proposing to construct an electrical pole 8.31 metres from the top of the watercourse bank within the front yard setback. The electrical pole is proposed to be 26.7 centimetres in diameter and 4.0 metres in height. The applicant is requesting zoning variances as per proposed plans to allow for the proposed works.
