The District has received a preliminary development proposal to allow for four stacked townhouses above a daycare facility following the direction of the Horseshoe Bay Local Area Plan. A three-storey building is proposed with access from the rear lane. Access is proposed from the rear lane.
October 2023 Update
On October 5, 2023, the applicant held a public information meeting on the development proposal to allow four stacked townhouse units above a day care space at 6384 Bruce Street and has provided the District with a summary of the meeting.
The preliminary development application is now completed. The next step would be for the applicant to submit a formal rezoning application if they wish to proceed. If a rezoning application is received, information will be posted on the District website.
