Live Watercolour Portraits on the Patio with Carol McQuaid
Image
The image depicts a woman artist at her workspace, set up for creating live portraits. She is a middle-aged woman with long, wavy blonde hair and glasses, smiling warmly at the viewer. She is wearing a sleeveless, olive-green dress with a patterned texture. Her right hand is raised, holding a paintbrush, and she appears to be in the process of working or preparing to work.

Internationally exhibited Canadian artist Carol McQuaid brings her elegant live portrait experience to the Harmony Arts Festival patio for the festival’s opening four days.

Known for her expressive line work and painterly style, Carol has taught and painted around the world, including aboard international cruise lines and through her Illustrated Vagabond sketchbook series. Each portrait is a one-of-a-kind keepsake that captures both likeness and personality in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Stop by the patio next to the Ferry Building Gallery, watch the paintings come to life, and take home an original piece of art from your Harmony Arts Festival experience.
