At the Regular Council Meeting on June 3, 2024, Council set the date for consideration of proposed Development Permit 23-079 for Monday, July 22, 2024, 7:00 p.m. at the Regular Council Meeting in Municipal Hall Council Chamber.

At the Regular Council Meeting on July 22, 2024, Council approved Development Permit 23-079 for 2368 Bellevue Avenue.

2023

The District has received a formal development application at 2368 Bellevue Avenue to allow for a new single-family dwelling, pool, hot tub, covered patio, driveway, retaining walls, and landscaping on the subject site. Zoning variances are requested, as per proposed plans, to allow for new proposed retaining (flood protection) walls adjacent to the Centennial Seawalk.

Proposed project plans

The proposal is being considered under Ambleside Apartment Development Permit Area Guidelines BF-B 4 and Foreshore Development Permit Area Guidelines NE 2 in the Official Community Plan (OCP). The proposed development permit requires Council approval.
