Following public notification of this proposal, the Director of Planning, Development and Environment Services considered and approved Foreshore Development Permit 26-005 on May 15, 2026.
Summary
The owners of 2650 Bellevue Avenue submitted an application for a Foreshore Development Permit with variances (DP 26-005) to allow for replacement of a failed retaining wall along the shoreline of the subject property. The proposed new wall will be constructed in generally the same location and alignment and location as the original retaining wall.
Zoning bylaw variances related to the maximum permitted height and required setbacks were approved to accommodate the proposal.
