November 2023 update
The applicant responded to neighbourhood comments regarding improving the roadway. As a result, the neighbourhood feedback was deemed resolved. The Development Permit for the coach house with front yard variance was issued on November 21, 2023.
June 2023
The District has received an application for a Development Permit to construct a detached secondary suite (coach house) at 4408 Stone Crescent. The proposal is to site the one storey plus basement coach house in the front yard and requires a variance to the setbacks.
A Wildfire Hazard Development Permit is also applicable for this project.
The coach house proposal went out for neighbourhood notification in March 2023. A summary of the comments received from the public were provided to the applicant to respond to. At this time a revised coach house proposal has not been received.
