Destination Parks Pay Parking Program update: new parks and exemptions for Veterans and accessible parking beginning on May 1

pay parking

The District of West Vancouver’s pay parking program is expanding to include two additional parks: Cypress Falls Park and Seaview Walk Park, effective Thursday, May 1, 2025. This change builds upon the Destination Parks Pay Parking program launched in 2024 in Lighthouse Park, Whyte Lake/Nelson Canyon Park, and Whytecliff Park.

Also, beginning on May 1, vehicles with a Veterans or Memorial Cross license plate and vehicles displaying a valid accessible parking placard will be exempt from the Destination Parks Pay Parking Program. Park visitors with vehicles that meet these requirements will no longer be required to pay for parking in parks.

Pay parking in these parks is in effect year-round, between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Visitors to the parks will be able to pay for parking through the hangTag and PayByPhone mobile apps or on the Impark website. Signage with QR codes linking users to pay for parking will be installed in the park parking lots.

Annual Resident Parking Pass
District of West Vancouver residents are eligible for an annual parking pass at no cost. To qualify, applicants must apply and provide proof of current vehicle registration to a West Vancouver address. Applications are subject to verification, which takes approximately two business days to process.  Apply for a resident pass at impark.com/westvan

For visitors and non-resident park users, hourly and daily parking rates will apply.
