In response to concerns from the community for pollution, pets, and our changing climate and environment, West Vancouver Council voted to ban the consumer use and sale of fireworks as of October 16, 2023.
The purchase, possession, and discharge of fireworks is no longer permitted.
There is no exception to this rule for Halloween. Fireworks permits are no longer sold at West Vancouver Fire & Rescue.
