The Keen Lau Fitness Circuit, a new public facility with a variety of outdoor fitness equipment, opens in Ambleside Park on April 30. Named in memory of West Vancouver resident Keen Lau, the new fitness circuit is located on Argyle Avenue, just east of the Peter Sullivan Skatepark and the multi-use sports court.

This waterfront recreation amenity includes pull-up and parallel bars, sit-up benches, gymnastic wall bars (also known as a Swedish wall), a climbing rope, and other gym equipment, as well as benches and a drinking fountain. The equipment also includes a tricep press, shoulder press, and butterfly/reverse fly, all of which are designed to be accessible for people using mobility devices.

Funding for this project has been generously contributed by Ledcor Group, Park Royal, West Vancouver Foundation, and relatives and friends of Keen Lau.

Attend the ribbon cutting

Mayor and Council invite the public to the ribbon cutting of the Keen Lau Fitness Circuit on Tuesday, April 30 at 10 a.m. in Ambleside Park. Attendees are encouraged to wear workout attire.
