Special air quality advisory in effect

Environment Canada has issued a special air quality advisory due to smoke from wildfires throughout BC. The advisory is expected to last until a change in the weather. The advisory began on August 25 and will remain in effect until further notice.

Vancouver Coastal Health and the BC Centre for Disease Control advise reducing your time outdoors, exercising indoors, keeping windows closed and keeping an eye on the air quality reports. Seniors, young children and people with chronic health conditions should take extra precautions.
