The District of West Vancouver is proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new permanent Youth Hub on Pound Road in Ambleside Park, marking an exciting step forward in creating a dedicated space for youth in the community.
On Thursday, June 25, Mayor Mark Sager joined Council members, staff, youth, and supporters at the event to recognize the beginning of this project on the former Ambleside Youth Centre site.
The new facility will be approximately 3,500 sq ft, complemented by outdoor space, and will house the District’s current programs and services that are offered at the Youth Hub at Park Royal. The permanent Youth Hub will provide a dedicated space for youth, supporting programs focused on fostering connection, well-being, and creating a safe place for youth to gather in their community.
The groundbreaking marks the next major milestone as the District looks ahead to construction beginning in fall 2026 and the opening of the new facility in 2027.
