The Old Brewis trail begins at Millstream Road at the junction of Eyremount and Chartwell Roads. It travels along the Millstream Trail, through the British Pacific Properties Gate, across a bridge and then north up the mountain. At the juncture with the Crossover Trail awaits the 1115-year-old Hollyburn Fir, which towers 43.7 metres high and has a diameter of nearly 3 metres!
