Dundarave Village was the first village established in West Vancouver and continues to be admired for its charm and setting next to the ocean.
The District is developing cohesive and unified streetscape guidelines for the public realm in the commercial area of Dundarave Village. This includes roadways, laneways, sidewalks, pavers, street trees, centre median, street lights, and street furniture such as benches, garbage cans and bike racks.
What are Streetscape Guidelines?
The creation of the Dundarave Streetscape Guidelines will guide and inform future improvements and upgrades to the area as they are needed. When finalized, these guidelines will support the local area by enhancing livability, complementing economic activity, providing a pedestrian-friendly environment and supporting the Village’s distinct sense of place.
From sidewalks to boulevards, trees to trash containers, light fixtures to street furniture – we want to hear what you love about Dundarave and capture your ideas and vision for suggested updates and improvements.
